Mo te turanga - About the role As a Data Engineer in our Technology Operations Team, you'll play a key role in helping to provide the visibility they need to monitor and protect the bank.
This role is responsible for designing and building the data flow and storage solutions, completing data collation, wrangling, analysis and visualisation of data sets.

As a Data Engineer, you are deepening your expertise and developing strong foundations.
You are continuously broadening and adding more skills to your toolkit, setting yourself up for your chosen career path within the engineering discipline.
You are starting to take on more of a leadership role, expanding your mentoring and coaching with more junior practitioners.

Extensive experience, including strong experience in security services.
Experience operating, troubleshooting, installing and configuring Cloudera products like NiFi, MiniFi and Data onboarding.
Experience operating and configuring Apache Kafka.
Functional understanding of scripting languages and automation (Python, JS, PowerShell etc.).
Products/Applications: Cloudera products like NiFi and MiniFi.
Big Data Administration and ETL.
CI/CD – CodeFresh, Github and Bamboo integrations.
AWS, Azure and GCP cloud skills.
You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
