Your expertise will, in turn, lay the groundwork for our analysts and data scientists to deliver of actionable insights from our complex data through advanced analytics powered by the modern data platform you help shape.The successful candidate will be working predominately onsite at the Taranaki Regional Council with a healthy work from home balance.We like to set people up for success so you'll be a leading applicant if you have:At least 5 years demonstrated experience in data engineering, data architecture, or a related fieldA tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a relevant fieldExperience working with large-scale data systems, databases, and distributed computing technologiesProficiency in programming languages and data processing frameworksExpertise in data modeling, ETL processes, and database technologiesTechnical and practical proficiency and competency Experience with building and maintaining effective relationships and gaining the cooperation of a wide range of internal and external stakeholdersWhat's on offer?Taranaki Regional Council is a fantastic place to work!
