DESCRIPTION: AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure.

We are looking for skilled Server/Network Technicians with a passion for technology to help us expand our data centers to the next level.

You will work on installing and troubleshooting the IT infrastructure that supports the AWS cloud.
You will work closely with our engineering and logistics teams to maintain daily operations.
There is never a dull moment as each day presents itself with different challenges.
Data Center Operations designs, installs & maintains the world's largest Computing Infrastructure.
This role is a unique opportunity to work in some of the most cutting-edge data centers in the world.
Amazon data centers are large-scale high-density centers where you will be working on changing the face of cloud technology in the region.
Key job responsibilities - Install and configure racks of hosts in line with internal SLAs - Diagnose and repair issues for server, storage and network devices, including the physical replacement of parts.
- Remediation or recovery of physical power issues on racks and participate in Data Center power & cooling events.
- Shift work (4 days on and 4 days off including night shifts on a rotational basis).
- This position also has a physical component requiring the ability to lift & rack equipment using our lifting equipment.
- Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and their own vehicle to travel between sites.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: - 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience - 1+ years of computer networking experience - High school or equivalent diploma PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure
