How you'll make an impact The Revenue Planning & Performance (RP&P) team drives and optimises revenue performance and operations across Xero's Customer GTM teams, ensuring the business meets its commercial goals. As part of the Performance Insights team, this role focuses on delivering strategic and operational reporting, insights, and analytics to support decision-making and improve business performance. The team fosters a seamless data experience, blending global consistency with regional learnings to empower stakeholders, while providing trusted, neutral perspectives on performance. As a Performance Insights Analyst, you'll deliver high-quality data analysis and insights to enable swift decision-making and strategic planning. You'll identify key data points, apply analytical methods, and present clear insights to help internal stakeholders across the business solve problems. Your work will span the full customer journey, involving multiple systems and platforms. Additionally, you'll collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, mentor other analysts, and contribute to building a strong, data-driven culture across teams. What you'll do Deliver performance insights and analytics aligned with Xero's global blueprint, defining the language of performance.Curate relevant, reliable data for teams and leaders through ad hoc and dynamic insight products.Transform complex data from multiple sources, identify new data sources, and contribute to data pipelines using the XADE platform.Utilise various communication methods to deliver insights, including dashboards, reports, and summaries, for diverse stakeholders.Apply best-practice techniques, producing reusable, flexible code and documenting findings for knowledge sharing.Execute JEDI methodology for defining and tracking performance metrics that drive commercial outcomes.Suggest new approaches to unlock data as a strategic asset for growth and operational improvements.Support global sales operations and commercial workstreams, ensuring consistency across regions and adhering to data governance policies.What you'll bring with you Strong skills in SQL, with experience in R or Python, and a preference for DBT experience.Proven ability to apply statistical concepts to models like churn, attribution, and econometrics.Expertise in delivering analytics through visualisations, dashboards, and storytelling.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience building stakeholder relationships and contributing to team culture.Comfortable navigating ambiguity, problem-solving, and aligning work with organisational strategy for commercial impact.Why Xero?
