We are looking for a new Data Analyst to cover a fixed term maternity leave for 12 months preferably from June 2024 to June 2025.

About the position The Data Analyst is a key player in our organization.
You will design, test & support reporting of analytic solutions that will allow the business to gain valuable insights into different KPIs measuring progress & performance.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of data mapping & integration concepts, and excellent knowledge of PowerBI & other reporting tools.
You will interact with key stakeholders of our organization, identifying opportunities to leverage data and maximize its value.
Key Responsibilities Analysing large data sets, detecting patterns & identifying measurement indicators Visualizing data and storytelling using PowerBI and other presentation tools Resolving issues related to complex business logic data insights Translating large data sets Backing up data presented You will need to have: Excellent analytical skills - ability to validate business rules from large volumes of data Great SQL experience Outstanding communication skills, ability to proactively identify, communicate, and document process improvement opportunities driven by data analytics Software building & data mining experience will be an advantage A relevant tertiary qualification is desired although not compulsory Someone who is committed to the principles of health equity and cultural competency and who is able to demonstrate an understanding of Maori tikanga and kawa and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
