We are looking for a new Data Analyst to cover a fixed term maternity leave for 12 months preferably from June 2024 to June 2025. Being in charge of data reporting for one of New Zealand's largest medical services providers, no day will be the same.
Tamaki Health is a strong network of over 50 clinics delivering care through our affiliated general practices, urgent care clinics, specialist centers, and occupational health clinics. Through our clinic brands including Local Doctors and White Cross, we serve New Zealand's communities with the highest standard of GP and Urgent Care.
About the position The Data Analyst is a key player in our organization. You will design, test & support reporting of analytic solutions that will allow the business to gain valuable insights into different KPIs measuring progress & performance.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of data mapping & integration concepts, and excellent knowledge of PowerBI & other reporting tools. You will interact with key stakeholders of our organization, identifying opportunities to leverage data and maximize its value.
Key Responsibilities Analysing large data sets, detecting patterns & identifying measurement indicatorsVisualizing data and storytelling using PowerBI and other presentation toolsResolving issues related to complex business logic data insightsTranslating large data setsBacking up data presentedYou will need to have: Excellent analytical skills - ability to validate business rules from large volumes of dataGreat SQL experienceOutstanding communication skills, ability to proactively identify, communicate, and document process improvement opportunities driven by data analyticsSoftware building & data mining experience will be an advantageA relevant tertiary qualification is desired although not compulsorySomeone who is committed to the principles of health equity and cultural competency and who is able to demonstrate an understanding of Maori tikanga and kawa and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.If this challenge sounds like something you would enjoy, then we'd love to hear from you.
