Dairy Flat Veterinary Hospital - Mixed Animal Veterinarian - AucklandOrganisation/clinic: Dairy Flat Veterinary HospitalLocation: AucklandPosition type: Mixed Animal VeterinarianAre you looking for a position where no two days are ever the same? Where you can help animals of all shapes and sizes and work within a team who have each-others back, enjoy a laugh (and the odd wine) and are committed to their patients, clients and each other!
Do you want to enjoy a rural lifestyle close to beautiful beaches and the Hauraki Gulf while being a stone's throw from Auckland and all the social, sporting and cultural experiences it offers?
Then we have the role for you!
Dairy Flat Veterinary Hospital is a mixed practice with a large and growing client base with around 80% small animal work and the rest lifestyle block/pleasure equine. We are looking for a mixed animal veterinarian dedicated to practising good quality medicine and having fun while you do it! The position could be full or part time. Some after-hours for large animals only is required but this is traditionally very quiet and a day off in lieu following a weekend on call is standard.
The clinic is well equipped with digital DR x-ray, fixed & portable U/S, endoscopy, abaxis laboratory equipment and separate cat/dog and isolation hospitalisation areas.
Dairy Flat Veterinary Hospital is part of the independently owned Veterinary Hospital Group. Within the group there are 30+ vets including those with special interests and advanced training in surgery, internal medicine, feline medicine, dermatology and ophthalmology. There is a generous baseline CPD allowance, frequent group CPD, and the potential to enter our "advanced practitioner pathway" where additional funding and time off to study can be provided.
We focus on providing an extremely supportive work environment with friendly staff dedicated to providing excellent patient care.
Remuneration is based on experience and expertise and includes Veterinary Council of New Zealand (VCNZ) and New Zealand Veterinary Association (NZVA) registration and a generous continuing professional development (CPD) allowance.
