Key leadership role within the regional RMO Workforce Operations Team

Based on site within the hospital environment providing a key contribution to the overall hospital operations team
About the role.
You will be managing our team of Daily Operations advisors who work closely with hospital management and clinicians to manage available RMO (junior doctor) staffing resources, to achieve the best outcomes day to day and into the future.
This position requires prior management and leadership experience, a strong customer focus, and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including Senior Management and Executives.
Due to the fast paced nature of hospital operations you will need to be able to think on your feet, prioritise and problem solve and work proactively in identifying and managing risk day to day, while at the same time being forward thinking and a leader in development of the wider strategic plan around the RMO (junior doctor) workforce.
You will be key in ensuring collaboration across multiple sites and teams, both across the Workforce Operations team and with our stakeholders. You will identify and lead projects to improve and implement process locally and regionally and ensure alignment with national strategy.
Ideally you would have a good understanding of Hospital operations, or have had experience working with workforce across the Health Sector. You will gain valuable experience working with an interesting and important professional group, growing both your skills and knowledge. You will also be given every opportunity to contribute to the development of our current systems and processes as we strive for continuous improvement in service delivery.
About you.
You have a proven track record and success in a leadership role at a management level. You have an appropriate tertiary qualification, and have well-developed leadership skills, with the ability to generate and deliver to strategic and operational plans.
You will be strong in relationship building and management, have exceptional communication skills and will be a team player who is able to inspire others. You are able to think through complex issues with a solution focus and you will manage your team to deliver agreed outputs in a timely manner. You will have natural curiosity and a continuous improvement outlook focused on improving the experiences of your key stakeholders and have experience in management and delivery of projects.
