About the Team In support of the phenomenal growth in the number of Workday customers and Workmates, we are growing our cybersecurity response program to continue to deliver world-class capabilities.
Our team is building the Security Center of the future to further our customer's confidence in our platform.
We are continually innovating our investigative capabilities in the areas of incident response, digital forensics (DFIR), threat hunting, and security automation.
We respond quickly and efficiently to minimize the threat of damage caused by malicious activities.
We are a highly visible global security function that collaborates closely with multiple Workday teams.
About the Role Workday is looking for a passionate and experienced security professional.
This is an opportunity to contribute to a highly visible team involved in all major cybersecurity events, where your skills and experience will inspire confidence and trust in Workday.
This is a highly technical role requiring expertise in incident response, security automation, system security, network security, and threat hunting.
This role will push you to understand the inner workings of our SaaS platform and combine that with traditional security practices on-premise.

About You Basic Qualifications 3+ years of experience as a security engineer / analyst in related domainsBachelor's Degree or equivalent experienceOther Qualifications Other relevant certifications and training (e.g.
Offensive Security, SANS, CISSP, Specific Security Tooling, etc.
)Ability to drive multiple projects and priorities while managing operational responsibilitiesDemonstrated knowledge of adversary TTPs (Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures)Deep understanding of network and application security threats, attack techniques, and mitigation optionsProficiency in Python, Ruby, and other scripting languages, along with a strong understanding of Linux / OSX and WindowsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience in some or all of the following :Cloud security concepts, solutions, and automationIncident response and incident managementThreat hunting techniquesSIEM and SOAR security technologies and solutionsPerforming digital forensics and securely acquiring data from various sourcesYou will engage in the following activities : Responding to operational queue work as part of a follow-the-sun modelLeading cybersecurity incident response and investigation efforts, including digital forensics and cloud security eventsImproving threat detection capability through gap analyses and remediationIdentifying areas for additional controls, tooling, and automation to enhance security monitoring and response capabilitiesBuilding and maintaining investigation and response tools and processesEvaluating new tools and techniques to create innovative and practical security solutionsDriving team development by mentoring new and existing staffOur Approach to Flexible Work With Flex Work, we're combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote.
