Otago Business Equipment (OBE) is a technical sales and service company. We currently supply and service Point of Sale (POS), Eftpos, Computing, Networking and WiFi for over 1500 sites through NZ. Our Sales Consultants and Service Technicians are highly knowledgeable and experienced. We provide hardware and software solutions designed to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our clients' businesses. We are seeking a passionate Support and Sales technician to join our team in Queenstown. You will be an integral member of our close-knit team and will be accountable for IT, POS and EFTPOS support and customer training on computer-based hardware and software systems for our clients on site as well as some Hardware and Software Sales. The successful candidate must have excellent technical experience and display the following.
Essential Technical Skillset: General IT knowledge
Understanding of Windows Operating Systems
Software and Hardware Installations
Printer Installation and Troubleshooting
Knowledge of POS and Eftpos Systems (advantageous)
Ability to communicate clearly to customers via Phone and Email.
Preferred Additional Technical Knowledge: Point of Sale in a Hospitality Setting
Knowledge of Eftpos
CRM and IT Ticketing Software
Printer and/or Photocopier servicing
Understanding of Networking and Wi-Fi Solutions
