The Customer Support team are the first people you see when visiting us.
We help people with their enquiries covering all aspects of what we do, including rates, parking, dog registration, refuse and recycling, consents, licenses, property enquiries, general enquiries, and more.Provide first point of contact resolution for customers accessing NPDC services, exceeding customer expectations.Provide administrative and technical support to other teams.Accurately capture and update existing information on system databases.Articulate legislation, bylaws, and technical information to customers in a simple manner that is easily understood, ensuring customers understand requirements and rationale for these.Actively ensure that legislative requirements and NPDC policies and procedures are fulfilled, particularly in relation to all key relevant legislation.To be successful in this role, you will need previous customer service experience combined with professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
You will have excellent computer skills, competency in problem solving, and an unstoppable positive 'can do' attitude.
You'll need an eye for detail, be able to think on your feet, be great under pressure, and be a multitasker.
