This role is about people engagement - listening, explaining, and helping.
Previous experience in security (or a related field) or frontline customer service is essential.
You will be working on the public transport network across Christchurch and will be expected to assist passengers, as well as deterring anti-social behaviour and de-escalating incidents.
Benefits include: • Guaranteed minimum of 36 hours per week • Shifts are a rotating roster - days will change each week so we need someone flexible • Permanent Fulltime role • Hourly rate from $23.15- $27.00ph • Full and ongoing training provided • A supportive team environment If you are interested in pursuing employment opportunities with FIRST, you must: • Have previous relevant experience – security, police, frontline customer service or similar • Be 18 years or older – this is to be able to obtain a COA • Be available to work across a 7 day rotating roster (mainly between mid-morning and late evening) • Be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills • have a FULL Drivers License • Be a NZ or Australian citizen or hold a valid NZ Work Visa Further benefits: • Full access to First Security's 'Perks' program with extensive discounts across a wide range of retailers, petrol and grocery.
