And we're privileged to be driving the search for a passionate and purpose-driven Customer Success Manager to drive the development, growth and excellence of their sales function.
Vention Lab is dedicated to enhancing the lives of its customers through advanced technology and as they launch their exciting products to key domestic and global markets they are looking for a sales leader to muck in, roll up their sleeves, and build a high-performing data-driven sales function from the ground up.

Vention Lab are poised to serve many thousands of customers globally, primarily focusing on direct consumers and business to business across New Zealand and Australia in the medium term. You will have the opportunity to shape the customer success strategy and grow the team over time to ultimately shape a lasting impact for the company's long-term success.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Growth and Performance: Develop and expand the customer success team, transitioning from a daily founder involvement to a self-sustaining and data-driven sales operation.
Drive Customer Success Initiatives: Take a hands-on approach to drive results for clients in New Zealand and Australia through direct marketing initiatives, channel engagement and a digital approach to sales.
Create Exceptional Customer Experiences: Spend time across various media speaking directly with customers, ensuring their needs are met and they receive the best possible service.
Strategise and Implement Improvements: Envision and execute advancements across the customer success team to consistently meet business goals ensuring the team's capability grows with the business so you can service strategy that focuses on both physical product sales and after-market subscriptions.
Build and Coach a High-Performing Team: Get the function operational and then inspire and guide your team, fostering continuous development and success in customer satisfaction.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with product development, marketing, production, and delivery teams to ensure seamless operations and delivery of products to end-users.
Report to the Executive Team: Clearly articulate results, upcoming developments, and necessary adjustments to leadership.
About You:
Proven Learner and Achiever: You thrive on learning, with a strong academic background and achievements in multiple areas including proven success in SAAS, technology or communications fields.
Great exposure to digital marketing and ARR sales: You'll ideally be accustomed to an environment which is digital-first.
Engaging Communicator: You have a broad network and a style that naturally draws people in, whilst being technologically savvy and at identifying customer personas and behaviours.
Empathetic Front-Facing Leader: Known for your integrity and calmness under pressure, you help others excel while taking on responsibility and leading from the front, and driving an EQ focus across your team over time.
Hands-On and Goal-Oriented: You set goals and drive toward their achievement with diligence and passion for success.
Ready for Leadership: You possess the skills to become a key member of the executive team in the near future.
