Reporting to the Customer Solutions Manager, this role will process and coordinate customer connection applications, ensuring that customers and contractors receive a quality service. This will involve reviewing applications, monitoring and updating connections databases, preparing and sending contracts to customers, and providing accurate reporting and analysis. The Customer Solutions Advisor role will provide guidance and mentoring to other members of the Connections team to build capability and flexibility within the team and enable a strong process-based connections service. The role will be based in Dunedin, a relaxed city surrounded by beautiful beaches, short commutes, and has great character thanks to its stunning architecture. About You You will enjoy working collaboratively and being part of the close-knit Connections team. You will have a strong commitment to delivering quality and courteous customer service and relate easily to others. Your timely and accurate communication skills will ensure that customers and contractors have a clear understanding of the Aurora Energy connection process. To be successful in this role, you will have: 2-3 years' experience within the electricity distribution sector Hold (or be willing to work towards) a National Certificate in Electricity Supply (Level 2) Strong knowledge of electricity network configurations Experience delivering an exceptional customer service experience Excellent communication skills with a friendly, positive, and approachable manner Plenty of initiative, with an analytical mindset and the ability to suggest problem-solving solutions that provide for customer's needs Attention to detail and accuracy in processing documentation About Us Aurora Energy is one of the largest electricity networks in Aotearoa New Zealand.
