Provide customer service & content description support in our campus library + manage our Nga Kete e Toru collection and study space.
Mo te tuka | The role Kick-start your career working as the Customer Services and Maori Collections Assistant in our campus-based Library.
This is as an early career opportunity, with great opportunities to learn on the job, while providing Lincoln University students and staff with access to collections and services that support their learning, teaching and research success.
Based in our Learning, Teaching & Library team, the key tasks of the role are:
Maintain the Nga Kete e Toru collection Contribute to the metadata in library digital collections Maintain the online video collection Customer service This is a permanent role working 37.5 hours per week including one evening during term time based at our Lincoln Campus. The remuneration range is set at $60,000 - $65,000 per annum.

To be successful in this role you will need:
Connections with Maori communities and/or experience working with Maori resources would be desirable. Familiarity with matauraka Maori, tikanga, and/or Te Reo Maori would be an advantage, or a willingness to learn on the job. A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Experience working in a customer-facing environment. Well-developed interpersonal skills. Education at a tertiary level would be an advantage.
