What you'll be doing:
During this 14-month fixed term contract, you will lead a team of approximately 10-12 Customer Service Representatives while collaborating with other leaders to care, help, and get things sorted for our customers. Your passion for people will enable your team to achieve their goals through clear direction and support. Leading the way with your motivation and enthusiasm, you will create an engaging environment where productivity can thrive. Your team will not think twice but to follow your lead.
As a leader, you will be working alongside your team on a flexible 7-day roster, working a 37.5-hour week. In addition to supporting the Service team, where you will be based in either Auckland or Hamilton, you will be responsible for day-to-day team leader responsibilities. You will also have your big picture lenses to consider issues that affect the wider business and have the opportunity to contribute to project work.
Other responsibilities include:
Inspect and coach teams to effectively utilize all opportunities to assess our customers' needs for Home, Landlord, and Contents products, as well as NZAA Membership and AA Life cover.
Take an active part in regular Call Calibration sessions to identify broader opportunities to improve the AAI experience.
Providing a clear sense of direction and purpose for the team.
Facilitating the development of the customer service team's knowledge and skills.
Contribute to the successful deployment of team meetings, training, and refresher workshops.
Be a role model for others in seeking feedback and driving continuous improvement in the Contact Centre.
