Do you enjoy helping people solve their shed and garden challenges? We're looking for someone to join the Gubba team, assisting our customers both in person and online with expert advice on shed solutions and quality gardening equipment. This role is based in Rosedale, Auckland.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide exceptional customer service for both our Gubba Garden Products and Gubba Garden Sheds websites, as well as in person at our shed display yard in Rosedale.Assist walk-in customers with inquiries about garden sheds and gardening equipment, helping them select the best products.Manage customer queries via phone, email, and in person with a professional and friendly approach.Process online and in-person orders and quotes, arrange deliveries, and coordinate with sales and logistics teams to ensure smooth fulfilment.Learn and retain in-depth knowledge about our range of products, including kitset and customisable sheds, gardening tools, and accessories, to confidently address customer inquiries.Provide customers with expert product knowledge and guide them in finding solutions tailored to their needs.Work on Saturdays as rostered (this could include additional hours), assisting at the shed yard and with garden pickups.Occasionally assist with the dispatch of garden and shed orders, as required.Occasionally represent Gubba at events such as the Auckland Home and Garden Show.RequirementsPrevious experience in customer service or sales.Practical mindset with the ability to provide creative solutions for customers with specific shed storage needs.Ability to learn and retain technical knowledge about a wide range of products and effectively use this knowledge to assist customers.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Competent with computers and open to learning new systems (training provided).Confidence in handling customer inquiries and offering product recommendations.An interest or background in gardening, outdoor products, or sheds is an advantage but not required.Forklift licence is an advantage (training can be provided if needed).Full driver's licence and ability to drive a manual vehicle are advantageous for occasional shed or part deliveries.About GubbaAt Gubba, we pride ourselves on serving Kiwi gardeners and homeowners with quality garden products.
