We offer a lot of variety in your work, including customer service, store sales, merchandising, heating up food, gas bottle/carwash, and NZ Courier agency sales. We are located within one block of stunning Lake Wanaka, near Queenstown. Lake Wanaka is the main go-to area for people visiting Central Otago. Wanaka is famous for its outstanding scenery, surrounded by gorgeous lakes and mountains which makes it the ultimate base for outdoor activities. In the summer months we can be one of the hottest parts of NZ. We are a busy service station located in the centre of Wanaka town open from 6am - 11pm, 7 days a week. We provide a wide variety of services e.g. convenience store, barista coffee, freshly prepared food, Chicken to Go, Deli style sandwiches, laundromat, customer shower, courier services, carwash, LPG, trailer hire, etc. - plus fuel of course! We're looking for someone that enjoys variety in their work, is a team player, and can provide our customers great service every time. At Caltex, we are a small team of 9, who all work together, sharing daily responsibilities, including helping customers, being on the tills, shop merchandising, receiving deliveries, food preparation, and cleaning. We are a fun team and you're guaranteed to meet many locals and holidaymakers every day. We pay good money - above the hospitality/skifield pay rates, plus you will have guaranteed work and won't be doing any split shifts. We will offer you comprehensive training and will give you lots of variety in your day-to-day work. This is a permanent position with consecutive mid-week days off.
