Seeking a dynamic and motivated Customer Service Representative to join our Christchurch team.The Role:As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a key role in driving sales and enhancing our business's reputation. Your passion for customer service, coupled with strong negotiation skills, will help you prospect new clients, qualify leads, and turn them into loyal customers.Full-time, permanent position with immediate start.Location: Cumnor Terrace, WoolstonDays: Monday to Friday, 08.30 am to 05.00 pmThe job:Prospect new clients and convert them into loyal customers through outbound calls.Build rapport with customers, understand their needs, and recommend suitable products.Negotiate and close sales, exceeding targets.Receive inbound customer calls; clear and action customer orders via voicemails, phone calls, and email.Provide excellent customer service and maintain accurate CRM records.Alert customers about new offerings.Enter customer orders in Sage, communicate with procurement and customers in a timely manner on order fulfilment.Follow up on customer queries, complaints, requests, and follow through outstanding credits.The requirements:Proven experience in customer services, outbound telesales, or another sales/customer service role.Must possess outstanding verbal and written communication abilities in English.Tertiary qualification beneficial.Track record of meeting sales quotas, ideally over the phone.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Knowledge of Salesforce would be advantageous.Exceptional communication, organizational, and time-management abilities.Ability to handle rejection calmly and negotiate effectively.Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.Knowledge of the food service industry is a plus.Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.Why Join Us?At Service Foods, we are committed to fostering a culture of innovation, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
