We're offering a fantastic opportunity for a Customer Service Representative to join our dedicated team starting with us January 2025 . At Counties Energy, no two days will be alike. You'll be at the forefront of handling a diverse range of customer inquiries, utilising your problem-solving skills to provide the answers our valued customers seek.
Key to this role is providing immense customer satisfaction through clear, timely and effective communication. Our incredible Customer Service team operates from 7am to 7pm, Monday to Friday. This is a full-time position working the hours of 10.30am to 7pm Monday to Friday. Given the dynamic nature of our industry, having the flexibility to support during storms, peak times, or team absences within department hours is highly valued.
While we provide extensive support and training to our successful candidate, we're seeking an enthusiastic individual who's ready to hit the ground running. You'll quickly adapt to new systems and processes, possess a strong foundation in customer service and administration, and excel in using Microsoft Office applications, database systems, and have exceptional attention to detail.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
A few years' experience working in customer services or administration roles, preferably in service/utility-based organisations.
The confidence and ability to diffuse and calm customers in high-pressure situations, whilst keeping a polite and patient demeanour.
A high level of self-management, flexibility, and organisation skills.
Strong IT literacy, with excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and familiarity with customer database systems.
The ability to take ownership of queries, proactively identify issues, find solutions and resolve.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
A thorough understanding of health, safety, and wellbeing.
