What You'll Do: As a Contact Centre Representative, you'll become a valuable member of a welcoming team at a well-known New Zealand charity. Your primary role will involve: Inbound Customer Support: Answering inbound phone calls from a diverse range of potential customers, addressing their inquiries, and providing expert assistance. Data Management: Accurately inputting data into computer systems to ensure that customer information and requests are properly documented and tracked. Collaboration: Collaborating with other service teams within the organisation to provide comprehensive assistance to customers and resolve their issues efficiently. Exceptional Customer Service: Demonstrating an impeccable telephone etiquette, ensuring every customer interaction leaves a positive impression. Emotional Intelligence: Utilising your strong emotional intelligence to connect with customers on a personal level, understanding their needs, and providing empathetic support. Tech-Savvy: Leveraging your tech-savvy skills to navigate various digital systems and platforms effectively. Composure Under Pressure: Staying composed and maintaining a high level of professionalism in high-pressure or demanding situations. Job Details: Full-time position 40 hours per week Monday to Friday: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm Rotational Saturday morning shift every 4-5 weeks (7:30 am - 12:30 pm) Hourly rate: $26.50 per hour + 8% holiday pay Qualifications: To be eligible for this role, you should: Be a New Zealand citizen, resident, or possess a valid open work visa Pass a Police Check with no criminal convictions Have proven customer service experience in contact centres, hospitality, retail, reception, or similar roles Excel in high-pressure or stressful situations Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills Be technologically adept, quick to learn and use new systems accurately Display a strong work ethic, a passion for helping people, and a commitment to teamwork If you possess the essential skills and experience and are eager to take your career to the next level, we invite you to apply today!
