This role is full time, Monday to Friday plus rostered Saturday mornings and is based in the Te Awamutu Rural Supplies store.
About the role: We have a full-time role available where you will be responsible for ensuring product is delivered onto customers' properties in a safe, efficient, accurate, and timely manner.
As a Customer Service Representative/Driver (CSR), you'll also be heavily involved in the day-to-day administration and effective operation of orders which includes preparation and charging, stock replenishment, and working closely with the in-store CSR's and sales teams.
You'll be adaptable and have a keen interest and passion for the local agricultural sector.
Your keen eye for detail and ability to relate well to both colleagues and clients will set you up for a long and successful career within our organisation.
This role will require you to spend a lot of time on your feet and a lot of manual handling, so you'll need to be physically fit.
Duties & Responsibilities: Provide sound advice to a variety of customers based on their needsPro-actively solve queries and problems from customers, suppliers, and other staffProcess sales and product requests with efficiencyOrder, unpack, and display merchandise according to company guidelinesUndertake Forklift, Ute, and trailer driving and delivery dutiesSkills & Experience: Proven computer and administration skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsNew Zealand agricultural sector knowledge and experience is preferredPrevious retail and/or sales experience is an advantageGood physical fitness as regular heavy lifting is requiredCurrent Forklift and Dangerous goods endorsement is required but can be trained for the right candidateExperience driving and backing trailers rated to 3.5 tonne is highly desiredA full, current, and clean New Zealand driver's licence is essential.We are committed to growing our employees and we develop leadership and technical expertise at all levels of our company.
