Vetlife is a large veterinary practice with 28 clinics throughout the South Island. Vetlife Wanaka is a busy clinic offering a full range of veterinary services to the surrounding community for both production and companion animals. We currently have an opportunity for an experienced customer service / receptionist to join our Vetlife Wanaka team.
The successful applicant will have excellent customer service and retail skills and will be an integral part of the team, working with the clinical staff to help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic.
This is a part-time position with customer service support required between the hours of 8am and 6pm, and your hours would be worked between those times, three days per week. There would also be some Saturday morning work on a rostered basis.
About the role:
Provide retail support to clients
Maintain product displays and have a sound knowledge of products
Data entry and process payments
Key attributes for this position are:
A companion animal background could be an advantage
A friendly confident personality combined with a sensible calm approach to work
Ability to communicate and build relationships with our valued client base as well as colleagues
Confident with IT systems
An eagerness to learn and an ability to prioritise and adapt quickly to change
