Far North District Libraries has one role available at Kaitaia Library based in the Te Ahu Centre.
We are seeking a dynamic person who loves working with the community.
Success in this role will be all about connecting our customers with books, programmes and events, and with each other.
Kaitaia library is in the north of our beautiful district, near Ninety Mile Beach and on the way to Cape Reinga.
The Te Ahu Centre is a community hub, with a museum, cinema, café and i-Site, as well as our wonderful library.
This role will be Permanent Part Time.
Ideally you will have experience in the library world, or in a customer service or educational role.
You will be happy talking about the latest great book, leading Storytime or afterschool craft or robots programming but also supporting our community with their technology needs.
Most importantly you will be great with people from all walks of life and an awesome fit for our team.

The salary for this position is Grade 10 within Council's salary structure ($50,546 - $59,466 per annum) dependent on qualifications and experience, plus Kiwi Saver.
