We're excited to announce that New World The Sands will be joining the community later this year! With a brand-new store and impressive offering across grocery, butchery, deli, bakery, produce and liquor, we can't wait to open our doors to the Papamoa community!
With our opening date set for November 2024, we are seeking a Customer Service Manager to join the team. As a department leader, you'll play an integral part in our journey towards a successful store opening and continuously deliver an awesome shopping experience for our community.
The Role:

Create, drive and deliver customer experiences worth driving past the competition for.
You'll be responsible for the day-to-day running across checkouts, lotto, online and customer service.
Ensure all customers' needs are met and they receive the highest quality customer service.
Complete rosters, conduct performance reviews, and training.
Setting the standards and ensuring they are met day in and day out.
Build relationships with the wider team and management to get the very best results.
Ensuring the responsible sale of alcohol.

What are we looking for:

Proven customer service experience at a supervisory level is advantageous.
LCQ and/or Managers Certificate and experience selling alcohol is preferred but we can help you get it!
Great people skills and people leadership potential.
Reliable, honest and be a good team player.
Sound computer literacy and keen to learn and use the latest technology.
Previous duty manager or sole charge experience advantageous.
