Customer Service – Construction Materials

The Role Based at the office in Mt Wellington and reporting directly to the Regional Manager. This position is the first point of contact for customers. The main emphasis of the role will be dealing with customers via the phone and email, processing orders and dealing with general enquiries. Combined with general administration duties and supporting the sales representatives where applicable. 
Responsibilities Order entry and queries via phone/email (external customers and intercompany/contract manufacturer customers).Raising purchase orders as and when requiredGeneral office administrative duties to support the team.Managing delivers to customersSupport the Sales Representatives in the field where applicableSkills & Experience Ideally you possess strong customer service experience, from within the wider construction materials marketPossess clear communication skills.Proactive and positive can-do attitudeConfident around different computer systemsThe Company We are working with a leading distributor of aluminium extrusion, sheet, plate and coil within the New Zealand aluminium industry servicing the trade and manufacturing sector.
