We're on the hunt for a Customer Service and Retail Assistant /Kaiawhina Kiritaki me te Hokohoko - a helpful, friendly person who doesn't mind pitching in to get the job done. Our world-class Astronomy Centre on Takapo lakefront brings to life the science of stars and Tatai aroraki (Maori astronomy) through an immersive and engaging international experience. This experience is a world-first and complements the range of outdoor experiences that we currently offer to our domestic and international visitors to the region.

Dazzle our manuhiri from around the globeCan blow us away with their previous customer service experienceWorks well in a teamPrevious clothing retail experience (preferred)Is eager to learn and correctly pronounce reo Maori names and termsCan work night-time shifts (finish 2am) on weekdays, weekends and public holidaysAnything could happen in a day - and we need someone who isn't afraid of a long and varied to-do list!
The successful applicant will have an affinity for the needs and aspirations of our ultimate Ngai Tahu whanui. Alongside this, you will have an understanding of, or an eagerness to learn and engage with our Ngai Tahu values.
