About the Job: An exciting opportunity has opened for a Customer Relations and Marketing Specialist within a leading FMCG company known for its iconic New Zealand brands.
Reporting to the Head of Export, this role is perfect for someone who thrives on building relationships, driving sales initiatives, and supporting the export team through detailed administration, account management, and data-driven analysis.
You'll play a key role in managing customer relationships, optimising sales processes, and providing valuable insights to inform strategic decisions.
This is a full time permanent role based in Auckland with a minimum of 40 hours per week to be worked (Mon – Fri).

Key Responsibilities: Account Management: Maintain and manage relationships with allocated customers, handle daily account activities, and resolve customer inquiries.
Planning and implementing sales and marketing initiatives to achieve sales goals under the direction of the Head of Export.
Sales Support & Administration: Provide essential support for all projects and assigned customers.
Assist in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.
Manage and update databases and documents for tracking sales and marketing activities.
Ensure administrative tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Provide research support to the Head of Export on market and sales opportunities.
Analyse customer sales data, consumer trends, and provide regular reports to optimise sales strategies.
Qualification, Skills and Experience: At least 3 years relevant previous work experience.
Work experience must include account management, data analysis and administration.
Previous experience in an FMCG company is required.
Relevant tertiary qualification in business administration, marketing, sales, or related field would be preferred.Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, particularly using Excel, with experience in Power BI preferred.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.Highly organised, with strong problem-solving abilities and strong administration and coordination skillsExposure to dealing with multiple time zones would be preferred.
