Use your commercial experience to help grow Food and Beverage and Consumer Goods Maori businesses internationally for the good of Aotearoa. This role is based in Auckland. By supporting export businesses, we boost Aotearoa's economy and reputation, and help to share what is special about Aotearoa with the rest of the world whilst fulfilling our purpose.
What you'll be doing - Te whakamahere -Partner with a portfolio of mostly early-stage Maori customers across food and beverage and consumer goods. You'll bring your digital mindset, exceptional relationship building and external stakeholder management skills along with a collaborative approach to achieving collective goals.
-Listen and understand customers in your portfolio to understand their kaupapa, their challenges and opportunities and assist them with our networks and exporting services to achieve their international growth goals.
-Find and attract a attract ambitious Maori exporters to bring into the Te Taurapa Tuhono | NZTE customer portfolio.
What you'll need to be successful - O Pukenga -Customer centric and a strong communicator who is able to connect to our customers with empathy, credibility and commercial reality.
-You will understand the context and dynamics of Maori business and will have the ability to build relationships with a broad range of stakeholders both internally and externally.
-Your experience may have been gained from within one industry however, this is not a deal breaker as your dynamic learning ability, energy, interest and drive to help Maori businesses to succeed is more important to us.
-An understanding of te reo, tikanga and kawa is preferred but you will also be proactively supported on your te ao Maori journey throughout your career with Te Taurapa Tuhono.
