We're seeking great talent to build, plan and maintain this growth.
We are seeking a high energy, detail focused Customer Connections Designer to complement our Customer Connections team.
As a Customer Connections Designer, you will be responsible for reviewing and delivering small works connections requests, including scoping customer requirements, developing solutions for the supply of electricity, preparation of quotes and offers, progressing and monitoring work through to the construction phase.
A key aspect of this role is working closely with our customers to understand and meet their requirements for connection to the network, the production of safe, detailed, consistent, and compliant designs, and professional handover to the network operations teams for delivery.
You will be detail focused, excel in a collaborative environment and have 3 or more years' experience in electricity network design, project management or electricity construction roles; in particular new connections and minor subdivision reticulation.
The ability to multi-task, prioritise workload and provide a high standard of service is critical to the role.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
A relevant New Zealand tertiary qualification in electrical engineering,
A minimum of 3 years relevant experience in electricity design or project management roles,
Great understanding of relevant legislation, regulations, and industry rules for electricity supply,
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal,
Good computer skills, including knowledge of Small World,
Knowledge of and demonstrate a total commitment to health, safety, and wellbeing.
