The role: Lead the way! | arahi i te huarahi Our Customer Care team in Hamilton are now looking for a candidate who knows what great service and leadership are, this role will be managing the regional Customer Care Hub and lead the Customer Care team ensuring that effective and efficient customer service and sales support is provided at all times. A successful Supervisor deeply understands customer's problems, builds strong relationships with decision-makers and influencers throughout the organisation and effectively identifies ways we can improve our service to our customers. Approximately 30% of your time will be spent on leadership activities and being the point of escalation, while the remainder of your time will be spent doing what you love – delivering the best possible service to your customers. This role is working full time Monday to Friday, with the possibility of a rostered Saturday in the future. A quick glance at what you will be doing: Driving and supporting your team to deliver customer excellence alongside the Sales and Operations Teams Leading, motivating and coaching your team – creating strong team morale, being open, responsive and approachable Being the point of escalation for your team, providing solutions and coaching through problems Build and maintain highly effective relationships with the branch network. Providing necessary information both over the phone and via email Skills & Experience: 2 – 5 years prior leadership experience Demonstrated call centre or customer support experience, including working on processes and procedures Prior experience working in a Trade environment, with a demonstrated understanding of technical and product knowledge High level of analytical skills with prior process identification and implementation experience Able to perform effectively under pressure while demonstrating confidence to team members Strong oral and written communication skills Proficiency with Excel and other computer systems Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations The successful applicant will be required to pass a pre-employment medical and drug test prior to the commencement of employment.
