About the Role Our business is growing and thriving and in this context we are looking for a motivated Customer Application Specialist to join our Onboarding team. Reporting to the Client Relationship Team Leader, your role will be crucial in helping us achieve our vision of being the number one choice for our members in terms of customer service.
As a Customer Application Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and resolving incomplete KiwiSaver and Managed Funds applications. You will ensure that appropriate follow-ups are carried out effectively, by actively engaging with prospective members to ensure a seamless onboarding process.
Some of your key responsibilities will be:
Following up new and historical incomplete KiwiSaver and Managed funds applications to gather information and/or respond to queries to successfully onboard prospective membersBooking meetings with our Inhouse Adviser team to provide further KiwiSaver or Managed funds advice where requiredApplying a high standard customer service skillset to build report, support advisers and potential new membersLiaising with appropriate stakeholders to solve onboarding application issues,Assisting with adviser/potential member complaint handling and exemplifying first point of call resolutionThrough data management, ensuring all reporting is accurately updated to reflect all stages of the incomplete journey.About You You are a highly motivated individual who is passionate about elevating customer experience by providing outstanding service. You enjoy working in a fast paced environment and ideally have come from sales and customer service related roles previously and would like to further your career in financial services and make a positive impact.
You are self driven, proactive and resilient - You have strong communication skills, are strategic, and proactive in your approach to problem solving and continually seek solutions for process improvement.
You will likely excel in the role if you have
• 2+ years in in sales, call center, customer service or similar role
• Previous Sales experience desirable
• IT literacy and ability to adapt to new technology
• Ability to work independently as well as contributing to a positive team culture
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
