Join us as we continue to grow and make a positive difference in our communities!To help keep Queenstown pristine this summer, we're looking for a dedicated Custodian to join our team on a fixed-term basis starting ASAP, working through to the end of February 2025.Role OverviewIn this role, you'll help keep public toilets and facilities around the town center, lakefront, and surrounding areas clean, safe, and inviting for all visitors.
Your key responsibilities will include: Cleaning and sanitising high-touch surfaces, including taps, sinks, handrails, door handles, and toilets.
Performing routine cleaning tasks such as mopping, sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, and bathroom cleaning.Tidying external grounds, including rubbish collection, leaf blowing, and water blasting.
Maintaining stock levels for soap, toilet paper, and hand towels.Ideally, you'll be available full-time, working 40 hours per week with weekend availability but we can make small adjustments for the right person.
You will also know your roster in advance in order to plan your leisure time!About YouYou'll be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, passionate about delivering excellent customer service, and able to represent Green by Nature and the Council professionally.
You should be capable of working independently and prioritise safety for yourself, the team, and the public.
