Subjects: English, Health and Physical Education, Learning Languages, Mathematics and Statistics, Science, Social Sciences, Technology, Te Reo Maori, The Arts
We are looking for an enthusiastic, child-centered, New Zealand registered teacher who can engage positively with our akonga and inspire a love of learning. Having a sound curriculum knowledge alongside the ability to build positive relationships and learner agency is essential. The ability to work collaboratively within a small school environment is valued. The successful applicant will be expected to support the ethos and philosophy of the school and show a commitment to the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
This position is for an experienced .40 curriculum support teacher to work across the school with a focus on supporting English language learners and a .60 principal release position for our Y6-8 class. This position comes with one leadership management unit for ELL support across the school. Structured Literacy experience is desirable but not essential.
