Hold a current NZ teacher registration.
Structured literacy training would be highly regarded.
Specific Responsibilities:
Provide Release Time: Assume teaching duties and responsibilities for teachers who are released to pursue professional development goals, ensuring students' learning experiences continue uninterrupted.
Collaborate with Released Teachers: Work closely with released teachers to understand their professional development goals, offering support, guidance, and resources as needed.
Assessment & Evaluation: Administer assessments, evaluate student work, and provide feedback to both the class teacher and students related to the curriculum areas covered during this project time.
Reporting: If a priority area has been identified, prepare reports for inclusion in written reports as per the reporting schedule.
Technology Teaching: Provide focused technology teaching in all classes where CRT is being provided. (This curriculum focus can be negotiated)
