We are looking for a Curriculum and Operations Manager to join our forward-thinking pedagogical team.
Join a close-knit team with a combined wealth of expertise and experience in early childhood. Working alongside Centre Directors and Kaiako to support key strategies and curriculum development, you will drive meaningful change to our centres and tamariki and inspire the creation of beautiful and richly resourced centres.
Supporting our Centre Directors with curriculum through to operations, you will be an experienced ECE leader with a passion for mentoring and developing teachers. Our teaching approach is progressive, inclusive, meaningful and supportive. Our teachers are encouraged to test out newly learned theories and creative concepts in the classroom to heighten the learning experience and provide the foundation for a lifetime of curious, capable learning. Your role will be to proactively support this approach whilst ensuring operational targets are met.
This role is varied, ranging from:
Area Manager duties – managing the operational aspects of a group of quality ECE centresMentoring and collaboratively supporting our Centre Directors and teachersInvolvement in the progressive design of our unique Bear Park programmeOpportunities for ongoing research & professional developmentThe continued development of our robust in-house professional development networkWorking closely alongside teaching teams, endorsing and enriching their programmeYou will be a natural communicator with a strong understanding of ECE operations and regulations. You will have the ability to translate complex requirements into 'real-life' for our Centre Directors. A deep understanding of the Reggio Emilia philosophy is required as this underpins all we do. You will also ideally be a qualified and registered ECE teacher with a true passion for the 0-5 age group.
