The Forrester Gallery is one of New Zealand's leading regional art museums, serving Oamaru and the wider Waitaki region and is administered by the Waitaki District Council. The Forrester Gallery operates from a recently refurbished Heritage New Zealand category 1 building. About the role In addition to maintaining a nationally renowned permanent collection, the Forrester Gallery presents a wide variety of locally sourced and nationally toured exhibitions. The position is a permanent full time role. The construction of an extension to the Gallery building is due to begin later this year so this is an excellent opportunity to join our team and contribute to this exciting project. About You We are looking for someone with experience in the curation and care of collections.
