Our offerings, imbued with Maori history, traditions, and stories, are curated to reflect the rhythms of the Maramataka, Maori lunar calendar. This powerful connection to the time-honoured celestial cycle further enriches our array of provenanced kai, offering our visitors an authentic taste of Maori culture.Our ideal candidates will have:A robust background in tourism and hospitalityExceptional communication skillsA profound respect and appreciation for Maori cultureWhile fluency in Te Reo Maori would certainly enhance your interactions with our guests, it is not a prerequisite for the roleKey Responsibilities:Deliver engaging narrative accurately representing Maori culture, history, and traditions.Provide warm, welcoming, and exceptional service to all visitors.Effectively communicate with diverse visitor groups, tailoring explanations, and narratives to their level of understanding and interest.Coordinating and hosting events, functions, and private offers, ensuring guests feel welcomed and informed.Respond knowledgeably to visitor queries providing educational and insightful answers.Uphold strict safety standards in all visitor areas, ensuring the wellbeing of guests at all times.Work closely with other operating departments to deliver an integrated visitor experience, including liaising with reservations, logistics, cultural and food and beverage teams.Collect and report on visitor feedback, to continuously improve our services and offerings.Why You Should Join Us:Be a part of a dedicated, vibrant team sharing the richness of Maori culture with the world.
