Cruise Customer Service Assistants

About the role
The customer service team will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth passenger exchange between cruise vessels and the port's main gate, enhancing the overall passenger experience. The employment will be on a casual, as-needed basis.
Main duties and responsibilities include:
Checking ID credentials of all passengers, ship's crew and cruise related port users accessing the port.
Overseeing wharf entry/exit points for dedicated traffic control and to prevent unauthorized access to the cruise wharf.
Assisting with access, traffic and crowd control and supporting the implementation of agreed traffic management plans.
Supporting and contributing to a safety culture.
Minimum Requirements:
You are a people person who has effective communication skills.
You work well in a team environment and can mix with a wide range of people.
You are safety focused.
You are flexible to suit the changing cruise schedule and rosters and enjoy working outside.
You hold a full NZ driver's license .
