CRM Senior Business Analyst - Manaaki Whenua Science New Zealand – Christchurch, South Island

We are looking for a skilled senior business analyst who will help us with the implementation of CRM functionality in NetSuite, our existing FMIS.
We are also undertaking enterprise-wide process design and establishing a Business Process Management capability within the business and are likely to adopt a tool such as Nintex (Promapp) Process Manager. We expect to be following Lean Six Sigma for this.
About the opportunity
The CRM Senior Business Analyst position will be part of the Mahi Tahi Phase 2 programme team responsible for delivering the agreed financial and non-financial programme benefits. The role will work with the Programme Manager, Change Manager, Workstream Leads, Functional Leads, and subject matter experts to achieve the targeted benefits as per the approved business case.
Realising these benefits will require high levels of engagement and collaboration with various stakeholder groups. Attention to detail and the ability to communicate complex information effectively and in simple, easy-to-understand terms will be required to be successful in this role.
We are refactoring our Financial Management Information System, NetSuite, and enabling its native Customer Relationship Management functionality, with each aspect having process work to be completed.
In addition, we are reviewing research, finance, and People and Culture processes, designing them optimized for time and simplicity.
Success will require collaboration with other BAs, the Tranche Delivery Lead, the Change Manager, and positive relationships with all stakeholders.
This position is fixed term until 30 April 2025, full-time, reports to the Tranche Delivery Lead, and is based at our Lincoln site.
About you
You have a tertiary qualification in business administration, computer science, accounting, or management information systems, or equivalent experience. You have at least five years of experience in business analysis including requirements solicitation, as-is and to-be business process modeling, and you are experienced with tools such as Nintex ProMapp (Process Manager). You are a confident Lean Six Sigma practitioner.
You have practical experience with NetSuite (or other FMIS), as well as several successful CRM implementations. Ideally, you will have experience in adopting CRM in support of various business objectives, including funnel, pipeline, and value proposition development.
You are proficient with M365 applications, BI tools, SharePoint, and advanced Excel.
You can discuss problems and formulate solutions with a range of scientists, business users, IS analysts, and developers.
You are an expert communicator, able to convey complex topics in an easy-to-understand manner, summarizing and presenting key takeaways from large sets of information.
You enjoy acting as a mentor and sharing your expertise in a hands-on manner.
