We supply great value energy, broadband, and phone services to all kinds of Kiwi homes and businesses.About the roleYou will be responsible for leading and coordinating the Credit Solutions team to ensure the team delivers effective credit management outcomes to Nova energy customers. You will be required to encourage timely engagement with customers, effectively manage credit risk, recover overdue debts, and reduce bad debts. This is a permanent full-time role (40 hours per week), Monday to Friday, based out of our Wellington office.Other key tasks:Coach and mentor team members by fostering high standards and ensuring a culture of learning, sharing experiences, and constructively challenging thinking.Forecast and monitor workflows and operational metrics so that priorities are set, and deadlines are met.Handle customer escalations.About you:To thrive in this role, you will have experience in building and fostering a collaborative & high-performing team while encouraging an inclusive & positive workplace culture. You will bring excellent analytical skills to assess credit risk, analyze financial statements, and credit reports, and make informed credit decisions.Key skills required for this role:Related qualifications or senior level experience in a similar role within Credit solutions.In-depth knowledge of credit risk management principles and credit policies and procedures with a good understanding of related regulatory requirements.Ability to quickly identify and resolve credit-related issues and work with your team to develop solutions that minimize credit risk while meeting business objectives.Proficiency in coaching, mentoring, and leadership to effectively manage and guide a team.While you may not tick all the boxes, if you can demonstrate how your previous work experience or personal skills would make you successful in this type of role, we would like to talk to you.More about the Credit Solutions TeamWe are a tight-knit busy team who excel in frontline customer service.
