Plant & Food Research is seeking a Creative Studio & Production Manager to oversee the development and execution of high-quality creative projects that elevate our brand and build recognition for creating impact that matters.
What you will be doing | Nga whainga matua As our Creative Studio & Production Manager, you'll lead a talented in-house team, including designers, photographers and other creative professionals, to deliver exceptional work that helps Plant & Food Research deliver on research and commercial goals. You'll oversee project planning and management, coordinating efforts across departments to ensure every project is delivered on time, on budget, and to high-quality standards. This role involves managing both in-house and external creative services, providing strategic guidance on brand stewardship, and maintaining strict quality control across all creative outputs. Your expertise will be essential in building and nurturing relationships with external vendors and optimising resource allocation to meet evolving organisational needs.

Proven experience leading a creative team and delivering in a similar role. Ideally within an in-house studio or creative agency environment.
Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and prioritise workload effectively.
Strong interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating across various departments and communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
Expertise in managing vendor relationships, including contract negotiation and procurement.
Deep understanding of brand management and quality control processes.
Financial acumen to manage budgets effectively and optimise resource allocation.
