We're looking for a Creative Operations Manager to lead our studio project workflow, streamline processes, and enhance resource efficiency. You'll oversee everything from project planning and resource allocation to budget management, quality control, and client communication, ensuring all digital and campaign projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.About The RoleAs a Creative Operations Manager, you'll be the backbone of our project workflow. You'll coordinate across teams—design, development, content, and marketing—to ensure all projects run smoothly, deadlines are met, and quality standards are upheld. You'll lead resource allocation, manage budgets, and serve as the main point of contact for project updates, making sure everyone stays on track and aligned with the project goals.A Typical DayYour day will involve managing end-to-end project workflows, monitoring budgets, tracking performance metrics, and keeping all stakeholders informed. Key tasks include:Project & Workflow ManagementDevelop project plans, timelines, and schedules specifically for website builds, digital projects, and integrated campaigns. Streamline workflows and establish review processes to maintain quality and efficiency.Resource Allocation & Capacity PlanningAssign resources based on project needs, monitor workloads, and adjust allocations to prevent conflicts or burnout. Manage freelance support when necessary.Budget ManagementTrack and oversee project budgets, managing software, tools, and third-party expenses to ensure financial goals are met.Quality Control & Review ProcessSet quality standards, implement review stages, and facilitate usability testing to ensure all digital deliverables meet client expectations.Technology & Tools ManagementOversee project management tools like Trello and Float, train teams on best practices, and evaluate new tools for efficiency.Client & Stakeholder CommunicationLead project kick-offs, provide status updates, and manage post-launch reviews. Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure alignment.Performance Tracking & ReportingDefine and track KPIs related to timelines, budgets, and quality. Generate regular reports and conduct post-project analyses for future improvements.Process Improvement & Workflow OptimisationRegularly review workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement process changes to enhance speed and quality.Team Leadership & DevelopmentLead team meetings, and create a collaborative environment focused on excellence.Risk Management & Problem SolvingAnticipate risks, create contingency plans, and resolve project issues in collaboration with team leads.Launch & Post-Launch CoordinationOversee launch preparations, including final checks and approvals, and conduct post-launch evaluations to gather insights.Experience & Core SkillsProven experience in project management and creative operations for digital and integrated projects.Strong understanding of workflow management, including timeline development, resource allocation, and budget oversight.Skilled in cross-functional team coordination, with the ability to align multiple teams and ensure clear task allocations.Experience with project management tools (e.g., Trello, Float, Confluence, Drive), digital asset management (DAM) systems, and other collaboration software.Knowledge of quality control processes, including review stages, usability testing, and final checks for digital projects.Technical SkillsProficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com) and familiarity with digital collaboration platforms.Strong skills in budget management and tracking software or resource spending.Knowledge of digital production tools and standards for website development, content, and campaign execution.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly relay project updates and manage client expectations.Strong leadership abilities, capable of mentoring junior team members and promoting a collaborative, goal-oriented work environment.Analytical & Strategic SkillsSkilled in defining and tracking KPIs, with a data-driven approach to performance tracking and reporting.Ability to conduct post-project analyses, offering actionable insights for process improvements.Does this sound like you?Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive with a strong focus on workflow optimisation and project quality.Experienced in managing complex digital projects and campaigns, from planning through to post-launch evaluations.Adept at balancing multiple priorities, solving problems, and ensuring project outcomes align with business goals.Collaborative, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and align project strategies across departments.While this role is focused on operations, we'd love it if you also bring creative skills to the table.
