Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity: We have a fantastic permanent opportunity for a Creative Art Director to join Creative@AT; Auckland Transport's talented in-house team of creative thinkers and makers. In this role you'll be responsible for creating outstanding insightful concepts with visual impact and taking them through to finished art. You'll also collaborate closely with other members of the Creative@AT team and internal stakeholders. You'll be creating components for projects that are visually appealing and on-brand. You'll be art directing a wide range of work for external and internal audiences: brand, retail, collateral across print and digital media and more. You'll also be involved in overseeing the creative aspects of a project and collaborating with other creative professionals. This is a real opportunity to have an impact at a brand level and help shape Auckland's exciting future.
Na tau rourou | What will you bring? As a seasoned pro, you'll bring solid experience as a Creative Art Director in advertising or similar creative industries. You'll also bring:
Enthusiasm to be part of our team and be a team player
Extensive knowledge of art direction and creative concepting
Recent experience in advertising and/or a similar role in a creative industry
Skills in preparing work for client presentations
The ability to take the lead on a project and to think strategically
Solid experience using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
Motion graphics experience
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Loads of curiosity, excellent collaboration skills and a passion for craft
