Job Description Te Haeata/The OpportunityWork in a team where you'll support the day to day operations of the court by supporting the administration function and providing customer service.Support the jury service function.Provide support and advice to our diverse customer base.Manage the archiving and filing of court records.As a Court Registry Support Officer your day will involve you engaging with our customers, including Lawyers, Judges, and the public – whether it be over the phone or face to face.
You'll work closely with Court Registry Officers and support them while they take Court and manage case files.Day to day you will be responsible for:Providing timely and efficient customer serviceSupporting Judges and Court Registry Officers both in and out of the courtroomSupporting jurors for trial hearingsProviding general administrative support for Court Registry Officers, including photocopying, scanning, and filingManaging the incoming and outgoing mailManaging evidence exhibitsAccounts payableData entryNo candidate will meet every single desired qualification.

O pukenga/Skills and ExperienceTo be successful, you will need to be:Detail orientated and observant – the court has many different processes and case information needs to be accurateSelf-aware – you'll understand our customers and will be confident working across a range of situationsAble to multi-task – you'll understand that some of our processes are repetitive, but you'll be able to manage conflicting priorities and move from one task to another quicklyWilling to learn – legislation and processes in the courts is always changing and you will be able to adapt and respond to feedbackYou will have Proven Customer Service experience and a current driver's licence.

Utu a-tau/SalaryThe salary band for this role is $54,343 to $74,416.
Starting salary of the successful candidate will be based on their skills and experience.
