About the Role
Reporting to the Fleet and Distribution Services Coordinator, Ventia has an exciting opportunity for a Courier Driver / Service Support Person to join our team based at Palmerston North Hospital. You will be responsible for the delivery of both scheduled and adhoc items at the Central Alliance hospital. Loading, securing, transporting, uplifting, assembly and disassembly and delivery of items to patients, Health NZ staff and facilities in a safe, timely manner.
This is a part time position 28 hours total across Monday to Friday (5.6 hours per day)
Production and distribution of ID cards for employees and contractors.
Assist in management of access control systems.
Grooming of fleet vehicles.
Ensuring manifest documentation is completed correctly and reviewing orders before and after delivery.
Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and escalating complaints from clients.
Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
About You
• Full Class 1 Driver's Licence and a clean safe driving record.
• Have a minimum of 2 vaccinations and 1 booster shot against COVID-19, as this role is working in the public health sector.
• Experience in security services is advantageous.
• Experience working in a healthcare environment will be advantageous.
• Computer literate and competent in windows applications.
