We are looking for reliable Courier Drivers for our Courier Company in the Waikato Region and may also be required to work in the Hawke's Bay region as per the business requirements. The courier driver will work towards customer satisfaction and transport items in a safe, timely manner. The delivery driver will pick up and drop off items according to assigned routes and time schedules. You should be willing to work as part of the delivery team to ensure that the items are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct client.
Responsibilities: Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner.
Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.
Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling client complaints.
Planning daily delivery routes.
Loading and unloading stock on vans.
Delivering goods while driving vans.
Complying with driving rules while delivering items to customers.
The candidate will be required to work at least 30 hours per week and be paid between $25 to $30 per hour.
Other important requirements:
Relevant experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Available to work on weekends and start as early as 5:30 am.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Must pass drug and alcohol tests.
Must have a clean driving record.
Must pass Criminal record check by MOJ.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Self-motivated and passionate individual.
Must be able to do heavy lifting (if required).
Hardworking individual.
Physically fit and capable of handling the demands of the role.
