About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Country Sales Manager to lead our clients sales and operations in New Zealand.
As the Country Sales Manager, you will lead by example, inspiring territory managers and distributors to achieve outstanding sales growth.
You will take charge of increasing sales volume and profit margins across both new and existing accounts, demonstrating hands-on leadership and dedication.
Your role will be pivotal in motivating and guiding the existing sales team to surpass country sales goals.
Additionally, you will ensure the effective distribution of our clients products through strong, sustainable agreements, propelling their market position in New Zealand to new heights.
Key Responsibilities: Manage top-line sales and profitability, ensuring targets are met.
Lead and motivate a seasoned sales team, including four sales staff and one operations manager.
Develop new business opportunities and maintain relationships with key customers and distributors.
Develop and recommend marketing plans for all products in New Zealand.
Monitor competitor activity, customer requirements, and market trends.
Ideal Candidate Profile: Experience: A combination of hands-on sales, marketing, or product management experience.
Blend of sales and operational experience.
Sound technical knowledge of the industry and related products.
Franchising experience (preferred but not essential).
Proven leadership and strategic thinking abilities.
Skills: Ability to manage and motivate a seasoned sales team.
Technically competent and commercially astute.
Functional understanding of cost accounting and practical application.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
