About the Role
As a Counsellor at Safe Network, you will be supporting our Rangatahi and Tamariki clients to make a positive change in their lives through:

Conducting assessments and delivering interventions from a wider systemic and socio-ecological perspective.
Using your clinical expertise to provide a range of therapeutic interventions, including individual and group work.
Effectively managing own caseload and administrative requirements.
Initiating and maintaining strong working relationships with key stakeholders to best support the client.
Bringing hope and making a sustainable difference to individuals, families and their communities!

About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

A robust understanding of the key frameworks and clinical practices in the area of Youth sexual harm.
Experience with assessment and intervention for concerning or harmful sexual behaviours and/or family violence.
A current registration with New Zealand Association of Counsellors, New Zealand Christian Counsellors Association or ANZACATA and or a Registered Psychologist.
The ability to form strong, client centred therapeutic alliances with clients and their families/whanau.
Strong clinical report writing skills and an ability to conceptualise and formulate case intervention plans.
A positive and non-judgmental attitude towards our clients.
