Te Whare Hauora o UC | UC Health CentreLocated in Otautahi | Christchurch, Aotearoa | New ZealandPart-time 22.5 hours per week (0.6 FTE)Continuing (permanent) positionGenerous annual leave provisions and professional development opportunitiesAu Mahi | What You Will DoUtilising your considerable experience in counselling a wide variety of clients, you will be responsible for providing prompt counselling services within professional standards and ethical practices to students to enhance student success. Such services would provide a variety of counselling interventions including a focus on brief intervention and/or seeking consultation with other health professionals as appropriate. You will promote education and awareness of counselling services to students and wider UC Community and participate in the development and delivery of programs, services and may be asked to deliver educational workshops.Mou | Who You AreIdeally you will have a bachelor's degree and higher qualification in a relevant discipline such as Counselling or Social Work as well as holding a current registration or professional membership.
